　　1.Elton John 原名Riginald Kenneth Dwight，1947年3月25日出生于伦敦近郊一个叫“Middlesex”的地方。4岁就开始学钢琴的Elton John，在11岁的时候获得了英国皇家音乐学员的业余学士。
　　2. Elton John 的第一份职业是，周末在Northwood Hills 旅馆当钢琴演奏，工资为每晚一英镑外加小费。
　　3.Elton John的名字来自他当年在“布鲁斯理论Bluesology”乐队的一个伙伴，萨克斯手Elton Dean，至于他为什么会看中“Elton”这个名字，从来没有任何官方解释。
　　4.Elton John 与天才词作者，他音乐上的搭档伯尼的第一次合作是1967年11月，在Long John Baldry's 的专辑“Let The Heartaches Begin”B面的一首歌：“Lord You Made The Night Too Long”是由二人作词作曲的。
　　6.1969 年6月发行的“Empty Sky”是以Elton John的名字发行的第一张大碟。当时的制作费用是7000英镑。
　　7.最稀有的一张有Elton John出现的专辑是1969年的“The Bread & Beer Band”相信目前仅存一张拷贝！在Record Collector 网站上的开价是2000英镑。
　　8.1970年8月25日是Elton John在美国开第一场演唱会的日子，地点是在洛杉矶，当时的观众里有Quincy Jones，the Beach Boys的 Mike Love 等人。
　　9.1974年11月28日在麦迪逊广场花园John Lennon与Elton John同台演出，那是John Lennon最后一次的公众演出。
　　10.1976年5月7日， Elton John成为继The Beatles之后唯一的一位被收藏入杜莎夫人蜡像馆的摇滚明星。
　　11.在美国大受欢迎的Elton John于1977年10月在麦迪逊广场花园成为以摇滚歌星身份被记入名人堂的第一人。

　　15.1998年，Elton John 正式被授勋为“Sir Elton John”。
　　16.2001年格莱美颁奖礼上，Elton John与著名说唱歌手(同时也是个著名的极度鄙视男同性恋者的歌手)同台演唱，令很多支持Elton John的同性恋者大感震惊和失望。
　　17.2002年，最新加盟赌城演出的Elton John，身价就竟然更高：Elton John以5400万美元的酬劳，在凯撒皇宫开300场演唱会。
　　18.2003年，英国影星休葛兰与一名商人联手以39万英镑天价，抢下与艾尔顿强及男友共进晚餐的机会，堪称英国史上最昂贵的一顿晚餐。这次拍卖会艾尔顿强共募了93万英镑。
　　19.2004年初突然有消息传说Elton John将与他的同性爱人David Furnish结婚！不过在24小时之内Elton John就出面辟谣说：“我和戴维都是同性恋结婚的拥护者，不过我们并没有决定要近期举行婚礼。

看了 Candle in the wind MTV，才发现梦露的笑是那么迷人啊！  她的电影最多看过一部，没什么印象，她靠什么出名的里？ :o
